Transportation

The Chaffey Joint Union High School District Transportation Department is an essential part of our students’ educational experience. With an operating budget of more than $1.3 million, we manage a fleet of 58 buses operated by 32 professional drivers, supported by skilled mechanics and dispatch staff.
Together, we provide safe, dependable transportation for over 25,000 students each year.
Our buses travel daily between home and school, and our department also plays a key role in supporting athletics, arts, and other extracurricular activities. On any given week, up to 26 buses are on the road late into the evening, ensuring students have safe transportation to and from events.
We take pride in maintaining a modern, safe, and reliable fleet while working seven days a week to meet the needs of our schools and families. The Transportation Department is more than just a service—it’s a trusted partner in the success of the CJUHSD community.
If you have questions or need assistance, please reach out. We are all here to support the students, staff and community that we are part of.

2026-2027 Transportation Services
During the 2026–2027 school year, the Chaffey Joint Union High School District intends to provide limited general education transportation services to the following schools:
- Chaffey High School
- Colony High School
- Etiwanda High School
- Valley View High School
The Transportation Interest/Registration Form link will be open from May 29th – June 14th. The registration link will go live on the first day registration opens. It will be shared via ParentSquare and posted on both the Transportation webpage, and the school’s website under Resources > Transportation.
New for the 2026–2027 school year: During the Interest/Registration form submission window, all entries will be randomized before processing. After the submission window closes, any additional entries received for the remainder of the school year will be processed in the order they are received.
If you would like transportation services for the 2026–2027 school year, please complete the registration form when it becomes available. A separate form must be submitted for each student. All students must submit a new form each school year, even if they received transportation services previously. Please note that this form is for General Education students only.
We will communicate with parents/guardians of those students who are awarded transportation beginning July 24th.
Transportation Reminders:
- Filling out the form DOES NOT guarantee transportation services.
- Families will only be notified when transportation services are awarded.
- Transportation services are prioritized to students who live three (3) or more miles from their assigned school.
- District transfer students do not qualify for Transportation Services.
- Every effort will be made to assign students to a stop where they will have less than a one (1) mile to walk to get to their bus stop.
- Bus stops are assigned.
- We will transport as many students as each bus’s capacity permits.
- Due to the high demand of transportation services, please fill out the form only if you intend to use services daily. If your student does not participate for three (3) consecutive school days without immediate notice to the transportation department, their transportation services may be discontinued.
- If you are not awarded transportation services and do not get a bus pass, you cannot ride the bus.
If you have not yet signed up for the ParentSquare App, and/or need to adjust your notifications and settings, please click on the link below for further instructions on how to do so.
